Dreams That Come True

Have you ever had a dream that you completely ignored only to find out two weeks later your dream came true.

Questioning why we dream has intrigued philosophers, psychologist and scientists for thousands of years. Despite scientific inquiry into the function of dreams, we are still baffled on why this occurs. So what do some experts say on this matter?

Analytical psychologist Carl Jung believed that dreams are a way the psyche attempts to communicate important things to the individual using symbols. Sigmund Freud on the other hand suggested that dreams represent unconscious desires, thoughts, wish fulfillment, and motivation.

Furthermore science has their own take implying that dreams may just reflect our emotions, or perhaps a “practice test” in case we are confronted with potential dangers in real life.

Did you know Abraham Lincoln had a dream predicting his death. How about the boxer Sugar Ray Robinson had a dream of killing his opponent days before the fight.

Can Dreams Come True?

If you say that dreams cannot come true why do hundreds of thousands of people every month search the web to inquire about dreams coming true. This might be a fluke but we cannot ignore the fact that random people are experiencing what they call “precognitive dreams” – the knowledge of a future event or situation, especially through extrasensory means.

It is said that most prophetic dreams do not bear spiritually significant meaning and hold no link to life-changing events. Sometimes these dreams can pick up on some random insignificant event that often wonders why we even had this dream.

Dreams that predict life changing events tend to be more vibrant or vivid that resonates deep in the dreamer psyche – a feeling of deep knowing or intuition.

Dreams that tend to come true are usually more vivid and vibrant unlike other dreams experienced. Psychic dreams have a tendency of picking up on both good, bad and indifferent outcomes.

How Dreams Come True

Maybe we need to go back to 5,000 years BCE and take a page from the ancient Egyptians as they where the first people to have a dream book.

They often used their dreams as a way to receive messages from the gods and help guide them though out life. Usually a respected individual, such as a priest, could be consulted to help them fully understand the meaning behind their dream.

Maybe the modern human has severed connection with the soul as it craves to be noticed. People who record their dreams in a dream journal will notice an unusual pattern over time that dreams speak to us in a coded metaphoric language. More than likely dreams that come true are often more detailed, vivid and feels as it just happened yesterday.

Your dream may communicate with you by using a snake bite as a potential enemy ready to attack or a possible bad event to arise in the near future. Perhaps a plane that takes off connects you to a new stage or destination in your life.

Now the question you should ask is if you really think you have free will? Don’t just wait for people to give you an answer. Pick up a dream journal and see what the future might hold for you!

Why Dreams Might Come True?

  • To provide warnings of people or situations
  • Unexpected danger
  • Advancements and personal growth
